The dryer doesn’t start.
There are three fuses within your dryer that are designed to shut down your dryer if they detect a problem. This is a good thing! If they didn’t trip, your house would be at risk of burning down! Make sure your exhaust vent is clear and call us to get your dryer back up and running!

If a dryer sounds like it has sneakers in it but doesn’t then you have bad rollers. If a dryer is squealing it has either a bad idler pulley or belt. Call to schedule an appointment today before these problems start to leave marks on your linens!
Things You can do:
A common complaint is that the dryer takes multiple cycles to dry your clothes. Before you call a technician, make sure you clean out the dryer vent all the way to the outside of your home. Sometimes exterior vents have a filter on them that can get caked up with lint. Also chipmunks and birds like to build nests in the warm dryer vent. Having a clog in the vent is like having a snowball in your vehicle’s exhaust pipe. The heat and moisture can’t escape! If you have a clog for too long, the heat building up inside of your dryer can blow an internal fuse.
It is recommended that you clean your dryer vent twice a year. Dryers located in basements are especially prone to clogs. The internal blowers are not meant to blow through vents that run up walls and across the ceiling.
If your vent is clear and you’re still having problems, call one of our experienced technicians!
